Livestream: Conductors' Academy with Paavo Järvi
The fourth Conductors' Academy will take place from 3 to 5 June 2024 under the direction of Paavo Järvi. The four masterclasses and the final concert will be broadcast live.

Six promising young conductors spend four days with Paavo Järvi and the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. The academy members work intensively on their technical skills and learn from Paavo Järvi and his work with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich.
The four course blocks with Paavo Järvi are livestreamed here and offer an exciting insight into the art of conducting. They are also open to the public and can be attended free of charge.
The closing concert will also be livestreamed here. In the closing concert, each individual candidate conducts a piece and is able to demonstrate his/her acquired skills. The winner of the Paavo Järvi's Scholarship will be invited to participate in the Pärnu Music Festival 2023, this prize is sponsored by Ruth Burkhalter.
The audience in the concert hall and at home can decide directly and choose the audience winnerafter the closing concert. The audience prize is CHF 1'000, sponsored by the Freundeskreis Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich.
