Gabriel Pernet wins the Conductors' Academy 2024/25

Gabriel Pernet is the winner of the Conductors' Academy 2024/25. The Swiss academy member impressed both the audience and Paavo Järvi at the final concert.

Gabriel Pernet demonstrated the skills he had learnt at the final concert and was delighted to win the Paavo Järvi Scholarship. In summer 2025, he will be able to continue working with Maestro Järvi in the "Järvi Academy" at the Pärnu Music Festival.

The 27-year-old conductor won both the Paavo Järvi Scholarship and the international audience vote. He can therefore also take home the audience prize of CHF 1,000, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich.
