Mirian Khukhunaishvili Wins the Conductors' Academy 2022/23
Mirian Khukhunaishvili is the winner of the Conductors' Academy 2022/23. The academist from Georgia won over both the audience and Paavo Järvi at the final concert.
Mirian Khukhunaishvili demonstrated his learned skills at the final concert and can be pleased about winning the "Paavo Järvi Scholarship". In the summer of 2023, he will be able to continue working with Maestro Järvi in the "Järvi Academy" at the Pärnu Music Festival.
For the first time in the history of the Conductors' Academy, a conductor has won both the "Paavo Järvi Scholarship" and the international audience vote. Mirian Khukhunaishvili can therefore also take home the audience prize of CHF 1,000, sponsored by the Freundeskreis Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich.
