"classic meets art" at Hauser & Wirth
The next event in our "classic meets art" series at Hauser & Wirth in Zurich's Löwenbräu area is just around the corner.
This time, "classic meets art" takes place among the works on paper by German artist Günther Förg. Using watercolour, acrylic or oil paints, charcoal, chalk and ink, he has created his very own visual world of grids, dots and landscapes.
Visual ideas are also at the beginning of the composition process of our Creative Chair Anna Thorvaldsdottir: she always starts with large-format drawings when developing her works. Musicians from the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich will play two of her works in the exhibition. They will be accompanied by Arvo Pärt's famous string quartet "Fratres".
