Will her string trio "Reflections" perhaps even become the central pivot of the entire concert, on the basis of which the two other chamber music works will be reflected upon anew and inspire new ways of looking at sound structures? After all, the string trio and the string quartet are the supreme disciplines of chamber music. However, while Sibelius never finished his string trio, Grieg made it to the top with his String Quartet op. 27: even today, with its cyclical structure and rich contrasts, it is considered one of the most important contributions to this genre.
