Alondra de la Parra with a Spanish program

Already for the third time the Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra is going to our guest.

This time with one of the most famous Spanish works, the «Concierto de Aranjuez» by Joaquín Rodrigo and the ballet music «El sombrero de tres picos» («The Tricorn») by Manuel de Falla.

The melancholy «Concierto de Aranjuez» has a tragic side to it. Joaquín Rodrigo moarns for the death of his unborn child with a «Saeta», a Spanish lament. Soloist on the guitar is Pablo Sáinz Villegas. Folk music resounds in the second part of the concert in Manuel de Falla's «El sombrero de tres picos».
